COOKIES.

Cookie policy.

Sigilia uses a minimal set of strictly necessary cookies. We do not use tracking, advertising, or behavioural profiling cookies.

Updated on 23 April 2026.

1. What cookies are.

Cookies are small text files stored by the browser on your device when you visit a site. They may store session information, language preferences, visual settings, or security data. This policy describes every cookie used by Sigilia, its role and its lifetime.

2. Categories used.

Sigilia uses two cookie categories: session cookies, strictly necessary to maintain authentication and the continuity of the payment process; preference cookies, for interface language and any visual preferences. We do not use analytics, advertising, or social network integration cookies.

3. Consent.

Strictly necessary cookies do not require prior consent under Directive 2002/58/EC, because without them the service cannot work. Preference cookies are set only after explicit interaction with the language selector or the settings panel.

4. Cookie table.

The full list is published below. Each row shows the technical name, the purpose, the lifetime and whether it is a first-party cookie or a processor cookie.

  • sigilia_session

Maintains the authenticated session for the duration of a payment.

Session (deleted when the browser closes).Sigilia (first-party).
  • NEXT_LOCALE

Remembers the language chosen by the user across visits.

    1 year.Sigilia (first-party).
  • sigilia_csrf

Anti-CSRF token for payment and contact forms.

    Session.Sigilia (first-party).

5. How to manage cookies.

You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Guides for Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Edge are published by each vendor. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the platform from working — in particular, the payment flow.

6. Contact.

For questions about the cookie policy, write to dpo@sigilia.ro. We review the policy at least annually and publish updates on this page.
