What the stamp tax is.
The *taxa judiciară de timbru* is paid for any action filed in court. Its value depends on the action type and, for evaluable claims, on the value of the claim.
ABOUT SIGILIA.
A state payment, built like a product.
Sigilia is the payment platform for the Romanian judicial stamp tax. The calculation is exact, the payment is regulated, the proof is filed directly with the court. It replaces the digitaljust.ro portal.
The legal basis.
The base is Romanian Emergency Ordinance 80/2013. Values were updated by Law 268/2024 and are indexed annually by Law 199/2025.
The service commission.
A service commission applies on top of the judicial tax. It differs between individuals (PF) and legal entities (PJ). The exact amount is shown in the calculator before confirmation.
The partners.
Payments are processed by LibraPay. The qualified electronic signature is provided by OneSpan. The proof is filed with the competent court.
PRICING.
The price, broken out.
Sigilia publishes every component of the payment, line by line. The state tax goes to the statutory accounts. The Sigilia commission covers payment processing and proof generation. The bank cost is the one charged by the processor.
The Sigilia commission and the bank cost are shown in the calculator on every run, alongside the judicial tax. Any change is published in the application's version log.
