Starting today, judicial stamp tax payments on Sigilia run through LibraPay, a processor authorised by the Romanian National Bank. The integration covers debit and credit cards issued in the European Economic Area, as well as direct SEPA Instant transfers.
For payers, the change shows in two ways: the bank cost is published line by line before confirmation, and settlement is instant. The proof of payment is generated immediately after bank confirmation, signed electronically by OneSpan, and filed with the competent court within seconds.
The LibraPay integration meets PCI DSS Level 1 requirements and is audited annually. Card data is not stored in the Sigilia infrastructure. Sigilia receives only the transaction reference and the payment status — enough to generate the proof and pass it on.
